When the sun sets,
Gray clouds disappear
Frost letting go of its cold, sharp grip
As coats of ice slip off the leaves of the trees
Upon sunrise,
Rays of gold light up the springtime sky
Filling the air with hope
Troubles and worries fade away
As roses of red and pink
Blossom and release their sweet, soothing scents
A new season has begun
Like a bud in bloom
The sunshine above
Caressing my arms with its blanket of warmth
Healing my frost bites
From the harsh, brutal winter
The gentle breeze flying by
Tickling my face
As I walk through the garden
I breathe in the fresh morning air and smile
Enjoying every fragrance
Of cherry and peach blossoms
Enjoying every sound
Of birds singing their springtime melody
Enjoying every sight
As roses of red and pink
And yellow and white
Grow around every corner
Under the bright blue sky
On the lush green grass
Sparkling under the golden sunshine
Life can throw worries at you, even when you least expect it. Whenever I feel like my worries are biting away at my skin like frostbite, I like to take a break and visit botanical gardens to observe the beauty of nature. A breath of fresh air and the sight of colorful flowers helps me relax and make me focus on the positive things in life.
From my perspective, life is not worth living when you constantly worry about the things that may only happen in your mind and never in real life. The best way to enjoy your life is to focus on the positive parts of life, which is why I took many close-up images of the flowers I saw at the Huntington Gardens. Enjoy the beauty of nature while it is still here!
